About getting an apartment for two and the dilemma that we have about it

As part of our initiative to better ourselves and gain some level of privacy, we mulled over moving out of my parent’s flat (which is a temporary move to financially recuperate) and we scouted a lot of places to begin with.

One thing about this is that, we have to make lots of considerations given that my wife’s skin asthma and allergic rhinitis are getting worse, and the current place we’re living in right now isn’t really conducive to her medical condition. A place with a good ventilation, access to everything within a few steps, and a safe community to walk around is something that she needs. While in my case, as long as it’s provisioned for fast internet and is within close proximity to mass transit, it’s good enough for me.

The only issue that we have is that it’s hard to find a place within our budget that can meet both of our needs, and most of them are inhumanely tiny (imagine a 12-16 sq.ft place with its own sink, bath, and kitchen). We were able to find something within our budget which is not only twice the floor area, but also meets all of our needs, but the catch is that the current tenant suddenly decided to extend their terms which automatically threw that option straight to the dumps.

After days of finding, we found another one but it’s a bit smaller but just enough for the two of us to chuck in all of our stuff. Just as when I was ready to throw out money for a downpayment after an ocular visit, the issue is that the condominium wasn’t provisioned for the ISP that I prefer, and the management would rather have me find a wireless provider instead. I was like “hell nah, but I seriously dig this place what a waste”. But I don’t want to give up on that one either, so I’m currently trying my luck checking any ISPs who can serve that unit with a wired internet service because that’s what my job needs.

I do hope that at least there’s one ISP that will free up a slot for an internet service. Wish us luck.
